SAMIEEE is a web-based ad-hoc query tool that provides volunteers with the ability to gather useful information regarding their Chapter's membership data.

The Vice President-Awards and Membership, Michael D. Zoltowski, is seeking nominations for the position of Chair of the Fellow Reference Committee.

The International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing (ICCSP 2011), hosted by the National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kerala (India) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Region 10 & IEEE Kerala Section, will be held in Calicut, Kerala, India from Feb. 10 to Feb. 12, 2011.

jose_mouraJosé M.F. Moura, professor of ECE and biomedical engineering, has been awarded the prestigious distinction of University Professor, the highest academic accolade Carnegie Mellon faculty members can attain.

The voting membership of the IEEE annually elects officers that serve on the top-tier IEEE governing bodies. All eligible voting members on 30 June 2010, as well as those elevated to Member or Graduate Student Member grade on or before that date, are eligible to vote in this year's IEEE Election to begin in August 2010. To help ensure you receive the ballot package, please review your contact information, member preferences, and education information by 15 June 2010. The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is one of the seven technical societies belonging to Division IX. All eligible SPS members will have an opportunity to vote for Division IX Director-Elect.

Max Nikias, a prominent member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, will become USC's next president, succeeding Steven B. Sample on Aug. 3, 2010 at the helm of the 34,000-student university.

The IEEE Awards Board invites you to nominate candidates for the 2011 IEEE Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal. The IEEE Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal, sponsored by Texas Instruments Inc., may be presented "for outstanding achievements in signal processing."

Jointly hosted by Signal Processing Chapter, Communications Chapter, and Engineering in Medicine and Biology Chapter of the IEEE Vancouver Section, an IEEE mini-symposium on engineering for biomedical applications took place in Vancouver, Canada, on May 28, 2010.
