New Cyber Security eLearning Courses: The IEEE eLearning Library provides the advanced technology content only IEEE can provide through convenient, multimedia-based online courses. With more than 400 courses in communications, computing, engineering, power, professional development, and dozens of other core and emerging technologies, the IEEE eLearning Library gives technology professionals, students, and faculty a better way to learn. IEEE-USA Offers Free e-Books to Members in October and November

As a special benefit to IEEE members for the month of October, IEEE-USA E-Books will offer “Shaping an Engineering Career--Book 3/Vol. 2: Advancing to Management.” Author Alan C. Tribble explains the different types of management jobs, (e.g., engineering management, program management, business development management, etc.) that are typical career-growth opportunities for engineers. He offers advice on how to work within an organization, as well as specific recommendations for technical personnel preparing to transition to management This e-book is available 1 October to 15 November.

Orientation Webinars for New Members; Guest Speaker for October

IEEE Section Chairs and Section Membership Development Chairs receive a monthly email notification regarding newly joined members in your Section. The current list of new members (those who joined in the past 30 days) is available through SAMIEEE, your volunteer analytics tool. The report provides member contact information: name, mailing address, email address, phone number, type of membership (traditional, e-membership), Societies joined, grade, and reasons for joining IEEE.
