Kush R. Varshney was born in Syracuse, NY in 1982. He received the B.S. degree (magna cum laude) in electrical and computer engineering with honors from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 2004. He received the S.M. degree in 2006 and the Ph.D. degree in 2010, both in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge.

Dr. Henrique Malvar is a Fellow of the IEEE and a Member of the US National Academy of Engineering. He is a Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft Research, having previously served as Managing Director of the largest Microsoft Research Lab in Redmond, WA. Prior to joining Microsoft in 1997, he was Vice President of Research and Advanced Technology at PictureTel Corporation. Prior to that he was a professor at University of Brasilia.

Greg Mori is Senior Research Director for RBC's Borealis AI and a Professor in the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University. Greg Mori was born in Vancouver and grew up in Richmond, BC. He received a Ph.D. degree from UC Berkeley in 2004 and an Hon. B.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1999. He was a Visiting Scientist at Google in 2014-2015.
