Unified EDICS

The SPS Unified EDICS are used for the SPS transactions and two flagship conferences: ICASSP and ICIP. Each SPS Technical Committee EDICS list is derived from this list. To view the specific EDICS list for a Technical Committee, please view the TC's website at the individual TC's webpages. Similarly, the EDICS of the following transactions are derived from this list:

and first level EDICS from the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security are included in the Unified EDICS List.

Updates to the Unified EDICS will be handled as follows:

  1. Either an Editor-in-Chief (EIC) or a Technical Committee (TC) Chair can initiate a request for a change in EDICS, which could be a modification, addition or deletion.
  2. An EIC would contact the Vice President-Publications and if a TC Chair, they contact the Vice President-Technical Directions and the respective Vice President makes the connection with the corresponding (most relevant) EIC or TC Chair accordingly working with the corresponding Vice President. Multiple EICs or TC chairs might be involved, if needed.
  3. Once the EIC(s) and TC Chair(s) reach a decision, they send their suggested change to the Vice President-Publications and Vice President-Technical Directions, who together bring the requested change to ExCom for approval.
  4. The Executive Committee will have final approval of the EDICS.
