SAM 2010 - Call for Papers

The Call for Papers is also available for download as a PDF document.

TECHNICAL PROGRAM:

The SAM Workshop is a major IEEE event devoted to sensor array and multichannel signal processing. The organizing committee invites the international community to present and discuss state-of-the-art developments in the field. SAM 2010 will feature plenary talks by leading researchers in the field as well as poster sessions, and a number of special sessions organized by internationally recognized experts. The workshop will take place in Kibutz Ma'ale Hahamisha, located between Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem.

PAPER SUBMISSION:

Authors are invited to submit contributions in the following areas:
o Adaptive beamforming
o Detection and estimation
o Direction-of-arrival estimation
o Space-time adaptive processing
o Radar and sonar array processing
o Array processing for communications
o Array processing for biomedical applications
o Microphone and loudspeaker array applications
o Synthetic aperture techniques
o Waveform diverse sensors and systems
o Multichannel imaging
o Performance evaluations with experimental data
o Statistical modeling for sensor arrays
o Blind source separation and channel identification
o MIMO systems and space-time coding
o Sensor networks
o Non-Gaussian, nonlinear, and non-stationary models
o Intelligent systems and knowledge-based signal processing
o Computational and optimization techniques for array processing
o Compressive sensing

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length, four-page papers. The papers will be handled and reviewed electronically through the workshop website at http://www.sam-2010.org. Comprehensive guidelines for paper preparation and submission can be found at the workshop website.

Special session proposals should be submitted by e-mail to the Technical Program Chairs and should include a topical title, rationale, session outline, contact information, and a list of invited speakers. Special session authors are referred to the SAM2010 website for additional information regarding submissions.
