New Committee Chairs for 2014

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) appointed several new Chairs for committees that report to the Membership Board. The appointments are as follows:

Kenneth Lam (Hong Kong Polytechnic University) to serve as 2015-2017 SPS Director-Membership Services and Chair, Membership Services Committee. He succeeds Carlo Regazzoni (University of Genova), who has held the post since January 2013.
Panos Nasiopoulos (University of British Columbia) to serve as 2015-2017 SPS Director-Industrial Relations and Chair, Industrial Relations Committee. He succeeds Mazin Gilbert (AT&T Labs Research), who has held the post since January 2012.
Patrizio Campisi (Università degli Studi Roma TRE,) to serve as 2015-2017 SPS Director-Student Services and Chair, Student Services Committee. He succeeds Kenneth Lam (Hong Kong Polytechnic University), who has held the post since January 2012.
Jacob Scharcanski (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul) to serve as 2015-2017 SPS Chapters Committee Chair. He succeeds Sven Loncaric (University of Zagreb), who has held the post since January 2012.
Yan (Lindsay) Sun (University of Rhode Island) to serve as 2015-2017 SPS SigPort Chief Editor. She succeeds Min Wu (University of Maryland), who has held the post since 2013.
