The SPS Resource Center: Webinars, Conference Videos, Tutorials, and more…Come for the Content; Stay for the Experience

By:
Bill Colacchio, SPS Senior Manager, Publications & Education Strategy and Services

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is dedicated to promoting webinars on technical and technological innovations (and their applications) in signal processing from top researchers and thought leaders in academia and industry making these available on the SPS Resource Center. Also available on the SPS Resource Center are Conference Workshop Videos and Tutorials from SPS-sponsored conferences such as ICASSP, ICIP, MLSP, Seasonal Schools, etc. Additionally, the SPS Resource Center has been redesigned to be a hub for SPS-related activities such as direct links to Code Ocean, IEEE Data Port, SPS SigPort, SPS-dedicated site, as well as IEEE.org, IEEE Xplore, IEEE Standards, IEEE Spectrum, and connect through various social media channels embedded into the site!SPS Resource Center (Click to Expand)

SPS would like to remind members, and potential future ones, that the SPS Resource Center has been building its educational webinar portfolio by offering topics of interest that are free to SPS Members and discounted for IEEE Members and non-members. We encourage you to visit the SPS Resource Center and view any of the nine webinars that offer a wide range of interests: the history of audio coding by Dr. Akihiko (Ken) Sugiyama, CAMSAP Plenary on tensors and probability by Dr. Nikolaos Sidiropoulos, deep learning by Dr. Sergios Theodoridis, multi-part presentations on finance/business related to big data by Dr. Xiao-Ping (Steven) Zhang, digital signaling by Dr. Vikram Krishnamurthy, 40 years of tracking for RADAR systems by Dr. Alfonso Farina, Dr. Giorgio Battistelli, and Dr. Luigi Chisci, quantum DSP by Dr. Lajos Hanzo, and most recently, adaptive importance sampling by Dr. Victor Elvira.

So, take a tour of the SPS Resource Center and access educational webinar and conference workshop/tutorial videos, links to products, tools, and services, and engage in social media interaction…
