IEEE-USA offers free e-books to members in October and November

As a special benefit to IEEE members for the month of October, IEEE-USA is offering a free e-book, "Engineers Can Write! – Thoughts on Writing from Contemporary Literary Engineers." Author Tom Moran shares award-winning and much lauded writers of poems, short stories, and novels – all engineers. Each of these engineers has been successful in the world of literature--and their competence with language undermines any claims that engineers can’t write.

For the month of November, IEEE-USA E-Books will offer "The Best of Today’s Engineer: On Innovation – Volume 1," is a compilation of some of IEEE-USA’s top stories on innovation - what it means, what it is, how to do it, what to think about, how to achieve it, and how it might affect some aspect of engineering. Look for the special link on 1 November.

To purchase IEEE members-only products and to receive the member discount on eligible products, members must log in with their IEEE Accounts.

IEEE-USA E-Books seeks authors to write an e-book, or a series of e-books, on career guidance and development topics. If you have an idea for an e-book that will educate other IEEE members on a particular topic of expertise, e-mail your e-book proposal to IEEE-USA E-Book Chair, Gus Gaynor, or IEEE-USA Publishing Manager, Georgia C. Stelluto.
