IEEE e-Membership Option

IEEE is pleased to offer a new electronic membership (e-Membership) option for the 2011 membership year.

To help make IEEE membership more affordable to more potential members, the new e-Membership option will be offered to both new and renewing, higher-grade members who live in one of 153 countries where the per capita gross domestic product (GDP) is under US$15,000 (based on data provided by the United Nations). E-Membership is a paperless membership option with reduced annual dues - just US$50 (plus regional assessments) - as compared to the traditional membership option, which costs US$136 for 2011.

The e-Membership Web presence is a resource for new and current members, volunteers, and staff. On the Membership Development Web page, volunteers also have access to a training presentation on e-Membership and a one-page product sheet that can be printed on demand for recruiting events.
