News and Resources for Members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society
The objective of the IEEE Signal Processing Cup (SP Cup) is to provide graduate and undergraduate students with the opportunity to form teams and work together to solve a challenging and interesting real-world problem using signal-processing methods. A competition topic will be set by a Signal Processing Technical Committee (TC). Three teams will be selected and invited to present their work. The prizes for the inaugural round of competition will be presented at the awards ceremony at ICASSP2013, which will be held on May 26–31, 2013, in Vancouver.
Following are the important dates for the 2013 SP Cup:
Announcement of the Competition Topic: | November 1, 2012, Thursday |
Submissions from Participating Teams: | March 8, 2013, Friday |
Announcement of the Best 3 Teams: | March 29, 2013, Friday |
