NEWS AND RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS OF THE IEEE SIGNAL PROCESSING SOCIETY

2026 IEEE Conference on Computational Imaging Using Synthetic Apertures (CISA)

CISA2026

The 2026 IEEE Conference on Computational Imaging Using Synthetic Apertures (CISA 2026) will take place 26–29 May 2026 at the University at Albany, in Albany, New York. CISA 2026 brings together researchers, industry practitioners, and technology leaders working at the intersection of computational imaging, synthetic aperture techniques, and remote sensing.

The conference serves as a forum for exploring how advances in signal processing, physics-based modeling, and imaging algorithms are enabling new capabilities across sensing platforms and application domains.

Technical Focus Areas

Attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge research and applications, including:

  • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS)
  • Synthetic Aperture Radiometry
  • Ptychographic Microscopy
  • Tomographic Techniques in Medical Imaging and Remote Sensing
  • Computational Imaging in Optics
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Model and Physics-based Image Reconstruction
  • Space-based Monitoring of the Natural Environment
