2026 Data Compression Conference (DCC), 24-27 March 2026, Snowbird, UT

The Data Compression Conference (DCC) is an international forum for current work on data compression and related applications. Both theoretical and experimental research is presented by leading experts from around the world. The conference covers both lossy and lossless compression for storage and transmission of various forms of data, including text, images, video, as well as many other datasets of specific application interest. Particularly relevant to industry participants are the latest in image- and video-coding standards, such as JPEG, MPEG, HEVC, and the H.XXX families.

DCC2026 will feature a keynote address, "Innovations in Biomedical Waveform Coding: An Emerging Standard and Its Applications" presented by Dr. Jonathan Pfaff of Fraunhofer HHI.

Special sessions at DCC will cover the following topics:

  • Gaussian Splatting Compression — Peng Yin and Jizheng Xu, special‑session chairs
  • Video Coding and Quality Optimization — Gary Sullivan, Yuriy Reznik, and Yan Ye, special‑session chairs
  • Computation Over Compressed Data — Daniel Gibney, Dominik Köppl, and Sharma Thankachan, special‑session chairs

Don't miss this opportunity to engage with leading experts and the latest research in data compression—register today to join us in Snowbird, UT, for DCC 2026, March 24-27.
