The Board of Governors of the IEEE Signal Processing Society elected two new Officers who will start their term on 1 January 2027.

Petros T. Boufounos will serve as Vice President-Conferences for the term 2027-2029. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is affiliated with Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), USA. He succeeds Haizhou Li who has held this position since January 2024.

Gaurav Sharma will serve as Vice President-Publications for the term 2027-2029. He is an IEEE Fellow and is affiliated with the University of Rochester, USA. He succeeds Antonio Ortega, who has held this position since January 2024.
