Now IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form at the related TC section pages. To submit job announcements for a particular Technical Committee, the submission form can be found by visiting the page below and clicking on a particular TC. A link for the form can be found in the sidebar menu of the TC pages. Jobs can also be viewed from its individual TC pages or a combined listing that includes all TC jobs.

Are you a practicing engineer who would like to attend ICIP 2016, but the cost of travel is too great? Talk to your local Chapter Chair about how you can qualify for travel support to attend the conference in Phoenix, Arizona, USA this September! The Signal Processing Society recently approved an initiative that would provide limited Society support for SPS Chapters to send up to two members each to the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP [http://2016.ieeeicip.org]) from 25-28 September 2016.

IEEE Signal Processing Magazine (SPM) invites inputs from the global signal processing community on recent engineering design projects with significant relevance to signal and information processing.

The final rouSpectrogramnd of the 2016 Signal Processing Cup took part at ICASSP in Shanghai. This year's international undergraduate competition explored using a time-varying signature embedded in media recordings to determine the location-of-recording.

This year SP Cup competition was on “Exploring Power Signatures for Location Forensics of Media Recordings”, to determine the location-of-recording by exploring a time-varying signature embedded in media recordings. This year 52 teams (around 334 students) registered for the SP Cup and 33 submitted their work. Three teams have been selected to participate in the final competition at ICASSP 2016.
