The IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter of the Year Award will be presented for the 10th time in 2021. The award will be presented annually to a Chapter that has provided their membership with the highest quality of programs, activities and services. The award will be presented annually in conjunction with the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) to the Chapter’s representative.

IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field. To submit job announcements for a particular Technical Committee, the submission form can be found by visiting the page below and selecting a particular TC.

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 13 Technical Committees and 2 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society.

In an effort to continue our programs and services during this difficult time, the SPS Awards Board is now accepting nominations for all Society level awards, from paper awards to the major society awards. Nominations are due by 1 September 2020.

Given the impossibility of travel during the COVID-19 crisis,  Computational Imaging TC is launching an SPS Webinar Series SPACE (Signal Processing And Computational imagE formation) as a regular bi-weekly online seminar series to reach out to the global computational imaging and signal processing community.

You may have been wondering what happened to the list of tables of contents (TOCs) we were offering in the SPS Newsletter each month? Well, beginning in 2020, many of the SPS journals eliminated month-based issues and moved to volume-only publications; for these, there are no month-based TOCs. In order to address this, we worked to devise a method to collect a range of articles being posted to IEEEXplore® and assemble them into a separate, yet familiar, formatted TOC.
