The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the position of Director-Membership Services. The term for the Director position will be three years (1 January 2013-31 December 2015).
The Director-Membership Services is responsible for identifying value/benefit/services to members, as well as recommending policy/mechanism for recruiting members. The Director is a voting member of the Membership Board and a non-voting, ex-officio member of both the Conference and Publications Boards.

The Nominate a Senior Member Initiative was designed to encourage all IEEE Societies and Sections to become actively involved in promoting the Senior Member grade. This initiative aims to:
* encourage grade advancement in IEEE;
* simplify the application process;
* offer financial incentives for approved Senior Member applications;
* offer increased benefits for Senior membership.
To qualify for the 2012 Nominate a Senior Member Initiative, completed Senior Member application and reference forms must be submitted no later than 1 November 2012.
