SPS Webinar

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is requesting proposals to host the 2029 IEEE Signal Processing Summit (SP Summit) in Silicon Valley, California, USA.

As a unified flagship model, the SP Summit is strategically designed to expand the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) by integrating additional technical areas - effectively establishing a powerful "Second Flagship" counterpart to ICASSP.

Event Overview

A major global gathering of up to 2,500 participants is anticipated, reflecting the integration of core technical pillars:

  • Anchor Conference: IEEE ICIP
  • Co-located Events: Open-call conferences or workshops on related topics (e.g., IEEE ASLI and IEEE CAI for the 2027 cycle).
  • Proposed Timeline: In alignment with ICIP's historical schedule, the summit is slated to take place between 1 September 2029 and 30 November 2029.
