Ph.D. positions with full financial support are now available in Dr. Ying Liu’s group in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU). Dr. Liu is looking for self-motivated PhD students to work on image/video processing, machine learning and deep learning. Visiting scholars and students are also welcome.
Dr. Ying Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University. Her research focuses on image and video processing, deep learning, high-dimensional data, and compressed sensing. She is an IEEE member and an SPIE member. Her research articles are published in IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT), IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM), Elsevier Journal of Pattern Recognition, Multimedia Tools and Applications, SPIE Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI), and prestigious conferences such as ICASSP, ICIP, SPIE DCS, and IEEE Asilomar conference. She serves as the reviewer of many top-ranked journals and also serves as the technical program committee member of multiple international conferences.
