The Signal Processing Society, along with the IEEE Computer Society, Communications Society, and Power & Energy Society, is co-sponsoring a new multi-part webinar series titled "Data Centers: Technology, Policy and Impact." Two webinars are planned for this year, with the series continuing into next year.
The inaugural webinar takes place on 6 October at 11AM ET. Dr. Ricardo Bianchini, Technical Fellow and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Azure, will present "Challenges and Opportunities in Data Center Power and Sustainability in the AI Era."
His talk will focus on managing power, energy, and sustainability for expanding AI infrastructure. At Azure, Dr. Bianchini leads the team responsible for workload management, server capacity, and datacenter infrastructure with an emphasis on efficiency and sustainability. He is a Fellow of both IEEE and ACM.
