Call For Industry Short Course Proposals is Open

Do you have hands-on expertise in cutting-edge AI and signal processing applications, and desire to increase the impact of your educational activities on industry?

The Educational Board invites proposals for short, hands-on courses (~3 hours) tailored for industry professionals. Selected courses will be featured in our 2025 professional development series, with IEEE providing professional production services and publishing on IEEE Learning Network. Selected instructors will also receive 1000 USD reimbursement package.

Focus Areas of Interest

We're looking for courses at the intersection of Signal Processing and Emerging AI Technologies in one of the following topics:

1. Agentic and Physical AI from a signal processing or application perspective: Explore the next generation of AI systems that act autonomously and interact physically with the world.
2. Combining signal processing with low-power AI: Techniques for integrating efficient AI into edge computing and embedded systems, where power and compute constraints are critical.
3. Safe and Secure AI Frameworks: Architectures, tools, and practices for building trustworthy, secure AI systems—a rising priority across multiple sectors.

Who Can Submit a Proposal?

We welcome proposals from instructors in both academia and industry who bring:

• Practical, hands-on teaching experience
• Expertise in signal processing, AI, embedded systems, or security
• A desire to engage with and educate a professional audience
