The MMSP-TC Rising Star Award recognizes outstanding early-career researchers who are making significant contributions to the field of multimedia signal processing through innovative research, leadership, and service to the community.

Recognized for outstanding contributions to graph signal processing and industrial impact.
The 2026 awardees have contributed to a broad range of emerging research areas, including multimedia communication systems, adaptive streaming, sustainable media delivery, generative artificial intelligence and AI-generated content, graph signal processing, and graph-based algorithm unrolling for 3D imaging and perception.
