Awards Subcommittee

• Identify potential candidates for SPS awards and TMM paper awards nominations
• Manage awards voting among TC members 
• Submit endorsed nominations to the SPS Awards and TMM paper awards Board
• Identify potential candidates for the MMSP Rising Star competition

Nominations and Elections Subcommittee

Chair: Li Liu
Members: Aladine Chetouani, Yipeng Liu, Yoko Yamakata, Wei Zhou

• Solicit nominations for new members and other roles (e.g., liaisons) that the TC nominates
• Conduct various elections and approval votes, including representatives to the ICME Steering Committee and Technical Program Co-Chairs for ICME, and help nominate Associate Editor candidates to relevant Editors-in-Chief in the Society

Conferences and Workshops Subcommittee

Chair: Lucio Marcenaro
Members: Jenny Benois-Pinot, Lu Fang, Lin Li

• Solicit potential applications for future MMSP workshops
• Evaluate and make recommendations to the TC on events seeking technical co-sponsorship
• Organize post-conference/workshop surveys, analyze results, propose future improvements

Technical Directions Subcommittee

Chair: Christian Timmerer
Members: Zhu Li, Yan Ye, Jian Zhang

• Monitor submission statistics for various EDICS in ICASSP and tracks in MMSP 
• Manage and maintain the EDICS for the TC and ensure it is being used consistently in all TC related conferences and workshops
• Propose areas where new members should be recruited
• Work with the Editor-in-Chief's of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and the various SP Society Transactions to ensure that MMSP areas are accurately represented in the EDICS of these Transactions
• Look for collaboration opportunities with other TCs and groups in SPS

Industry and Government Subcommittee

Chair: Jianquan Liu
Members: Ioannis Katsavoudanis,Yang Lei, Shan Liu

• Looks for and engages in opportunities for greater interaction with Industry and Government
• Liaison with the SPS Industry board
• Solicit potential MMSP workshop sponsorship from relevant industry, act as the point of contact for the workshop organizers

Education and Thematic School Subcommittee

Chair: Shuai Wan
Members: Naveen Kumar, Lucas Thomaz, Jin Zeng, Lu Zhang

• Lead the organization of the technical program of the MMSP thematic school, with support from the workshop organizers (responsibilities include prepare call and identify speakers, create technical program)
• Look for and engage in activities that provide educational opportunities for the MMSP research community including online talks and seminars
• Support SPS educational activities through SPS Education Board
• Support SPS student-focused activities such as Grand Challenges and SP Cups

Area Chair and Reviewer Subcommittee

Chair: Shiqi Wang
Members: Azeddine Beghdadi, Li Cheng, William Puech

• Maintain and update lists of active Area Chairs and Reviewers for conferences and journals supported by the TC
• Periodically call for new reviewers and Area Chairs, and vet their applications
• Propose special sessions and special issues related to MMSP tracks

Communications and Media Subcommittee

Chair: Anthony Trioux
Members: Jong-Seok Lee, Yiyi Liao

• Maintain the TC web site together with SPS staff
• Maintain TC social media channels (LinkedIn)
• Maintain lists of active Associate and Affiliate Members

Expanding Collaboration & Engagement Subcommittee

Chair: Mylene Farias
Members: Wei Hu, Angshul Majumdar

• Develop strategies to promote diversity and inclusion within the TC and broader community
• Help solicit member nominations to support TC's diversity and inclusion goals, in collaboration with the Nominations and Elections Subcommittee
• Support nominations for relevant SPS committees
• Support SPS diversity and inclusion activities
