2027 International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI)

Image of Lausanne, Switzerland

The Twenty-Fifth IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, May 25-28, 2027.

This silver jubilee is attracting over a thousand leading computational and life-science researchers, as well as clinicians, to shape the next chapter of biomedical imaging. It fosters knowledge transfer across imaging communities and promotes an integrative approach to image-driven discovery in biology and medicine. Its top priority is to strengthen the synergy between researchers and experts from academia, healthcare organizations, research institutions, and industry towards the advancement of research and innovation in the field of biomedical imaging. ISBI is the premier scientific conference dedicated to the mathematical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of biological and medical imaging across all scales.

In 2027, ISBI will take place at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, which is home to a world-class ecosystem in biomedical research and technology. It is jointly organized by the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.

Join us for an edition that brings together leading computational and life-science researchers, as well as clinicians and practitioners, to shape the next chapter of biomedical imaging.
