Fresh Blood in the IFS TC

The IEEE Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee (IFS TC) Nomination & Election Sub-Committee collected this year 18 candidatures from high caliber researchers and scientists, who were running for membership to the IFS-TC. After a vote amongst the current TC members, the following 9 individuals have been elected:

  • Patrizio Campisi, Universita degli Studi Roma TRE, Italy,
  • Teddy Furon, INRIA Rennes, France,
  • Alex Kot, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore,
  • Alessandro Piva, University of Florence, Italy,
  • Shantanu Rane, Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, USA,
  • Wade Trappe, Rutgers University, USA,
  • Sviatoslav Voloshynovskiy, University of Geneva, Switzerland,
  • Jia-Ling Wu, National Taiwan University, Republic of China,
  • Wenjun Zeng, University of Missouri, USA.

At the same time, the IFS-TC members also voted to elect their Vice Chair. I am glad to announce that Prof. Min Wu from University of Maryland, USA has been uninanimously elected.
