ICIP 2018 Call for Proposals

The IEEE Signal Processing Society is accepting proposals for the 2018 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP®). SPS Members are invited to submit a proposal to host ICIP 2018. If you are interested in submitting a proposal please contact Nicole Allen to get the forms and guidelines.

ICIP is the premier international forum for the technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing. The series is sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society and has been held annually since 1994. Research frontiers in fields ranging from traditional image processing applications to evolving multimedia and video technologies are regularly advanced by results first reported in ICIP technical sessions. Topics included, but are not limited to:

  • Imgae/video coding and transmission
  • Image/video processing
  • Image formation
  • Image scanning, display, and printing
  • Image/video storage, retrieval, and authentication
  • Applications

To submit a proposal, send a notice of intent to bid to the Vice President–Conferences, Wan-Chi Siu (enwcsiu@polyu.edu.hk) and the Conference Services Coordinator, Nicole Allen (n.allen@ieee.org). Include in the notice your contact information and the proposed location. The Signal Processing Society Conference Services staff will issue the proposal submission forms upon receipt of the letter of intent. The forms must be completed and the proposal submitted to the Conference Services staff by 16 October 2013. Proposals will be assessed by the Conference Board Executive Subcommittee. Accepted bidding teams [finalists] will be invited to present at the Conference Board meeting held at GlobalSIP 2013 December 3 - 5, 2013 in Austin, TX, USA.
