Advance your Career with Mentoring and Employment Opportunities in IEEE Collabratec

IEEE Collabratec™ is an integrated online community where technology professionals can network, collaborate, and discover career opportunities.

Log into IEEE Collabratec to get started with the Opportunities features:

• Search job listings: select Opportunities from the main menu to search job listings from the IEEE Job site. Filters are provided to narrow your search results based on company, date the job was posted, job location, etc. Save job details to view, share, or apply later.
• Get discovered by organizations seeking talent: On the Opportunities “Settings” tab, users can check the box under Employment Preferences to make their profile and CV/resume visible to organizations seeking talent. Complete the Employment Preferences and upload a CV/resume to get discovered by potential employers.

Career Communities: CareersConnect-India and CareersConnect-USA are communities available to IEEE members to discuss career-related topics, get job search input, and interact with other technical professionals.

Mentoring: Mentoring features facilitate the matching of IEEE members and Society Affiliates for the purpose of establishing a mentoring partnership.

• To become a mentor: On the Opportunities “Settings” tab, check the box under My Mentor Preferences and complete the fields to be discovered by potential mentees.
• To find a mentor: Select People on the main menu, and under the Relationship filter, check the box next to IEEE Mentors. Additional filters are provided based on the person’s mentoring area, location, company, interests, member grade, etc. When you have found a potential mentor, click the +Connect button and select “Request Mentor.”
