IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo 2026 in Thailand, July 5-9, 2026

Since its launch in 2000, ICME has been the flagship multimedia conference sponsored by four IEEE societies: Circuits and Systems (CAS), Communications (ComSoc), Computer (CS), and Signal Processing (SPS). It promotes the exchange of the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and applications across these research communities. The 2026 edition of ICME will be held at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park from July 5 to 9.

General chairs of ICME 2026 are Supavadee Aramvith (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand), Frederic Dufaux (Université Paris-Saclay, France), and Jianfei Cai (Monash University, Australia). The Industry Program of the conference is chaired by Chenjia Bai (Institute of AI (TeleAI), ChinaTelecom, China), Changick Kim (KAIST, South Korea), and Karsten Mueller (Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, HHI, Germany).

ICME 2026 introduces a new Industry/Application Track for papers that are primarily completed within industry or aimed at addressing industry‑driven problems. Specifically, submissions are invited that focus on real‑world challenges, deployed systems, and industry-led innovations. These papers emphasize practical relevance and provide solid experimental validation that goes beyond standard academic benchmarks. 

Beyond the regular conference sessions, the ICME 2026 program includes special sessions, tutorials, and workshops.
