The Video and Image Processing Cup (VIP Cup) invites student teams to collaborate on solving real‑world challenges through innovative video and image processing techniques. Three finalist teams will be selected to present their projects at ICIP 2026, where they will compete for the US $5,000 grand prize.

Any Signal Processing Society member can submit a proposal, which should include some details of a challenging problem, the assessment criteria, a description of the required data to process, etc.
