News and Resources for Members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society
Call for Nominations for Editors-in-Chief
The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites nominations for the position of Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing, and the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing for terms starting 1 January 2013.
Nominations should be submitted to Mari Ostendorf, SPS Vice President-Publications, via mo@ee.washington.edu. Nominations must include a brief biography of no more than one page, along with a web address that contains the candidate’s CV (do not send a curriculum vitae with the nomination). Also include a statement of the candidate’s editorial experience if any. A statement of interest of up to 500 words should be included stating the nominee’s vision for the journal and special qualifications for the position. Nominations must be received no later than 4 March 2012. Full details can be found on the web at website.
