Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer II Location: Colorado Springs, CO As member of the RME Hardware Engineering Team: Performs Hardware Engineering design, analysis and testing of electronic subsystems. Represents Hardware Engineering in the development and evaluation of subsystem architectures, designs and interfaces. Provides direct technical support to the Rapid Reaction Branch as a member of the on-site engineering team. Only candidates who currently possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearance will be considered.

• Provide technical expertise to multiple development projects in varying phases of development.
• Design signal processing solutions, including algorithms, prototypes, and software design, for software- and firmware-based solutions for modern satellite communication systems.
• Interact with technical team members from multiple organizations in a team environment.
• Interact with Government sponsors to ensure the integration of new capabilities into existing architectures.
• Perform systems engineering and integration activities as needed on projects.
• Provide engineering level documentation to enable transition of project results.
• This position will require overnight travel up to 10 percent of the time. Trip durations may range from overnight to several weeks.
