The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) invites your participation in the Second Annual SP Cup, a competition for undergraduate students to be held at the 2015 International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) in Brisbane, Australia. This competition aims to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to form teams and work together to solve a challenging, interesting real-world problem using signal processing techniques. Three top teams will be selected to present their work at ICASSP 2015, where prizes will also be awarded. Participation in the Competition: Each team participating in the competition is to be composed of one faculty member (to supervise the team members), one graduate student (to assist the supervisor), and at least three but no more than 10 undergraduate students. At least three of the undergraduate team members must be IEEE SPS members or student members. Participating teams must submit their projects by Friday, 6 February 2015.Each submission should include a report, in the form of an IEEE conference paper, on the technical details of the methods used and the results, as well as the programs developed.
