Affiliate Members
The Signal Processing Society and its Technical Committees revised its bylaws and policies and procedures a few years ago. As a result of these changes, the Society’s Technical Committees and SIGs now have the opportunity to expand their membership base by adding Affiliate Members. Technical Committee/SIG Affiliate Members are non-elected, non-voting members of the Technical Committee/SIG. There is no limit to the number of Affiliate Members that a Technical Committee/SIG can have. Affiliate membership is open to:
- IEEE SPS members (any grade) and IEEE student members interested in the scope of a given Technical Committee/SIG.
- Non-IEEE members of professional organizations in interdisciplinary fields within the Technical Committee’s/SIG's scope.
Technical Committee/SIG Affiliate Members will receive calls for Member and Vice Chair nominations, as well as any eNewsletter the Technical Committee/SIG may have. Technical Committee/SIG Affiliate Members also have the opportunity to act as reviewers for one of the Society’s conferences or be appointed to one of the Technical Committee’s/SIG's subcommittees.
Becoming a Technical Committee/SIG Affiliate Member is easy, just visit this website and request Affiliate Membership.
