SPS provides access to a wide range of governance documents, membership development reports, and a repository of Board agendas and minutes for volunteers. Please note that some materials may be restricted to Society-level Boards or Committees.

Q. What is a quorum and how it applies to voting?
A quorum of a Board or Committee shall be a majority of those members having voting rights. A majority of the legal votes cast by members of the Board or Committee present at a regularly convened meeting shall be necessary for the conduct of business.
Q. What are the voting rules?
The IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter of the Year Award (CoYA) will be presented annually to a Chapter that has provided their membership with the highest quality of programs, activities and services. The award will be presented annually in conjunction with the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) to the Chapter's representative. The award will consist of a certificate and a check in the amount of $1,000 to support local chapter activities.
IEEE Signal Processing Society offers funding to SPS members and chapters to encourage volunteerism and society involvement in local activities. The Society offers funding opportunities for several subprograms under the Member Driven Initiatives program.
