The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) appointed Sadaoki Furui (Tokyo Institute of Technology) to serve as 2014-2016 SPS Fellow Reference Committee Chair. He succeeds Alle-Jan van der Veen (Delft University of Technology ), who has held the post since January 2011.
