The Board of Governors of the IEEE Signal Processing Society elected two new Officers who will start their term on 1 January 2026.

Lina Karam will serve as Vice President-Membership for the term 2026-2028. She is a Fellow of the IEEE and is affiliated with Arizona State University, USA, and AIAEC LLC. She succeeds Kin-Man (Kenneth) Lam, who has held this position since January 2023.

Xiao-Ping (Steven) Zhang will serve as Vice President-Education for the term 2026-2028. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and is affiliated with Tsinghua University, China. He succeeds Roxana Saint-Nom, who has held this position since January 2023.
