Dr. Li is a Singaporean scientist, and a Chinese Teochew native. He is now a Presidential Chair Professor at the School of Data Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China. He did his Ph.D in digital signal processing of speech in 1990, and spent the past three decades to refine the technology. 

Shrikanth (Shri) Narayanan is University Professor and Niki & C. L. Max Nikias Chair in Engineering at the University of Southern California, where he is Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Linguistics, Psychology, Neuroscience, Pediatrics, and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Director of the Ming Hsieh Institute and Research Director of the Information Sciences Institute. 

Prof. Rabab Ward's career includes many firsts, particularly for women in engineering and signal processing, paving the way in three continents and spanning over four decades.  This did not come easy as we discovered.  After many years of perseverance, Ward became the first woman with a Ph.D. to be appointed as professor of electrical engineering in Canada in 1981. 

Dr. Meredith Ringel Morris is Director of People + AI Research at Google. Prior to joining Google Research, Dr. Morris was Research Area Manager for Interaction, Accessibility, and Mixed Reality at Microsoft Research, where she founded Microsoft’s Ability research group. 

Prof. Christian Jutten received Ph.D. (1981) and Doctor es Sciences (1987) degrees from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France. He was Associate Professor (1982-1989), Professor (1989-2019), and in September 2019, became Professor Emeritus at University Grenoble Alpes. 

Elisa Konofagou is the Robert and Margaret Hariri Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Professor Radiology as well as Director of the Ultrasound and Elasticity Imaging Laboratory at Columbia. Her main interests are in the development of novel elasticity imaging techniques and therapeutic ultrasound methods.

Dr. Oriol Vinyals is a Principal Scientist at DeepMind, and a team lead of the Deep Learning group. His work focuses on Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to joining DeepMind, Oriol was part of the Google Brain team. He holds a Ph.D. in EECS from the University of California, Berkeley and is a recipient of the 2016 MIT TR35 innovator award. 

Gloria Menegaz is a professor of bioengineering in the Department of Computer Science, University of Verona, Italy where she leads the Neuroimaging Lab. She serves as an associate editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters and EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing, and she was a guest editor of Journal of Display Technology.
