IEEE has announced a new subscription option available only to IEEE members. IEEE Member Digital Library Basic provides IEEE members with three new full-text article downloads every month, plus the ability to rollover unused downloads for 12 months, for only US$15 per month. IEEE Member Digital Library Basic contains the same top-cited content as the standard IEEE Member Digital Library, including all IEEE journals, magazines, and conference proceedings. Members who need a more robust option for research can still subscribe to the standard IEEE Member Digital Library, which provides 25 monthly article downloads for US$35 per month. “This new option gives more members the opportunity to stay current in technology by providing access to vital IEEE research at a lower price point. Members who may not need as many documents as the original IEEE Member Digital Library have a new choice designed to fit their needs,” said Karen L. Hawkins, IEEE director of product management.
