On behalf of the Fellow Reference Chair, the Vice President-Awards and Membership, Michael D. Zoltowski, is seeking nominations for four new members of the 2011 Fellow Reference Committee.

Three new Members-at-Large will take their seats on the Signal Processing Society Board of Governors beginning 1 January 2011 and will serve until 31 December 2013.

The Image, Video, and Multidimensional Signal Processing (IVMSP) Technical Committee is currently seeking nominations for new members.

IEEE is pleased to offer a new electronic membership (e-Membership) option for the 2011 membership year.

As the first step, embracing IEEE’s global strategy, SPM has decided to experiment with a translated reprint edition of SPM. The first edition in simplified Chinese was completed and the printed version was distributed to ICIP attendees in Hong Kong.

P2P video streaming system has become popular among Internet users in recent years. This thesis studies two critical issues and proposes new solutions to P2P content distribution: copyright protection and jitter-free streaming.

The IEEE Concentration Banking Program offers all Geographic Units, Conferences, and Standards Developing Committees a bank account with unlimited check writing privileges, paying a higher rate of interest than traditional business checking accounts.
