After a selection process involving 160 papers, the technical committee of the IEEE Workshop of Information Forensics and Security 2012 has selected a list of 48 papers that will be presented in Tenerife (Spain) between December 2 and 5 2012. The Workshop will start with 4 tutorial sessions on Content Protection Systems, Cloud Computing for Network Forensics, Biometric Privacy and Secrecy and Video Forensics.
Beside the 5 oral sessions and the 2 poster sessions, 3 keynotes will also be presented: one on the design of signal processing systems considering a potential adversary by Pr Mauro Barni, another on anonymous communications by Pr George Danezis, and the last one on the use of audio forensics and speaker recognition in courts of law by Pr James L. Wayman. A demo session will also showcase 8 demos from industrials or academical participants. Last but not least, a social event will consist of the visit of the Teide observatory and a banquet in a banana plantation.
