News and Resources for Members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society

December 2019

The list of tables of contents (TOCs) are now available for December 2019. The TOCs are formatted to the style of its publication and offers links to the full issue on the front cover, as well as links to the individual articles in IEEEXplore®; simply mouse-over the article title and click on it.

This webinar, Toward Efficient and Flexible CNN-based Denoising in Photography, begins with the design of denoising CNN (DnCNN) model by incorporating residual learning and batch normalization.

Accounts for ordering membership development materials are now created at the Section and Student Branch level.  New sign in credentials for the Marcore ordering portal were sent to MD Chairs (or Section Chairs) and Student Branch Chairs in early August.

Members and non-members can add Society membership when giving the Gift of IEEE Membership. Help someone in your life find their professional home in IEEE. Start by giving them the gift of IEEE Membership and consider adding a Society or two!

Well, we're at the end of 2019. Most likely, this was like any other year for most of us. We had some successes and some failures, but overall, it's not a bad year. We're all getting ready for holidays, with our goals for 2020 slowly brewing in the back of our minds.

Due to overwhelming interest in Member Driven Initiative funding, the IEEE Signal Processing Society has changed its process for submitting proposals through the program. This includes proposals for Forums, Regional Meetings, and Chapter Driven Initiatives.

Did you know the Society offers funding under the Member Driven Initiatives program for events that encourage involvement by SPS membership, including local chapters, universities, industry members as well as individual members?

IEEE SPS has built a streamlined mechanism for employers to add a job announcement by simply filling in a simple job opportunity submission Web form related to a particular TC field. To submit job announcements for a particular Technical Committee, the submission form can be found by visiting the page below and selecting a particular TC.
