Annual Call for Workshop & Conference Proposals

Annual Call for Proposals

The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has implemented an Annual Call for Proposals for many of the technical conferences and workshops solely sponsored by SPS. The Call for Proposals will begin on 1 October 2024, and detailed information about each of the eligible events will become available on the Call for Proposals page on the SPS website.

  • Interested Organizers are asked to complete and submit an Intent to Bid Form by 27 November 2024.
  • Teams will be shortlisted and finalists will be invited to prepare full proposals, due 25 March 2025.
  • Proposals will be reviewed and selected by the relevant Technical Committees in April 2025.

Shortlisted Teams Prepare Full Proposals 6 December 2024 - 25 March 2025
Full Proposals Due 25 March 2025
TC Review Full Proposals, discuss, and provide conditional approval during April 2025, many in conjunction with ICASSP 26 March 2025 - 10 April 2025
“Approved” Organizing Committee to attend ICASSP 2025 - ‘Host a Workshop’ Session 11 April 2025
Approved Organizing Committee submits IEEE Conference Application for review by IEEE and SPS Conferences Board Executive Subcommittee 1 May 2025
Final review period  1 May 2025 - 12  June 2025
Notice of IEEE approval 29 May 2025 - 13 June 2025
SPS Conference Team introduction and begin planning 13 - 27 June 2025
