IEEE SPS Summer School on Biomedical Image Processing and Analysis, Dubrovnik, Croatia

The Summer School will be organized by the University of Zagreb from June 8-14, 2013 in wonderful and unique Dubrovnik, Croatia, also known as "The Pearl of the Adriatic". In its heyday, it was a bustling, flourishing city protected by its mighty defensive walls. This unique medieval setting has been preserved and was inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. The main topic addressed by the seasonal school is biomedical image processing and analysis.

Ray Liu, 2012 As the use of digital multimedia content such as images and video has increased, so have the means and the incentive to create digital forgeries. Presently, powerful editing software allows forgers to create perceptually convincing digital forgeries. Accordingly, there is a great need for techniques capable of authenticating digital multimedia content.
