IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Industrial Relations Committee has established a new "Ambassador" program that is aimed to strengthen the relationship between IEEE SPS and the industry. The program establishes new representatives in companies, referred to as Ambassadors, who will act as the interface in this relationship with the IEEE SPS. The Ambassador circle currently includes about 30 members from companies represented in technical committees. This core set has made its first meeting during the IEEE ICASSP Conference in May, in Vancouver, Canada.

Your vote is important! The election of Members-at-Large (term 1 January 2014 through 31 December 2016) and the Directors-at-Large for Regions 7 & 9 and Region 10 (term 1 January 2014 through 31 December 2015) of the IEEE SPS Board of Governors is now open. Ballots must be received at IEEE no later than 30 August 2013 in order to be counted.
