Call for Nominations: Chair, Fellow Reference Committee

The Vice President-Awards and Membership, John Treichler, is seeking nominations for the position of Chair of the Fellow Reference Committee. The term of appointment is three years (1 January 2014-31 December 2016). The position is responsible for chairing the Fellow Reference Committee, which is responsible for evaluating nominations for IEEE Fellow that are referred for review by the IEEE Fellow Committee. The Fellow Reference Chair is also a member of the SPS Awards Board. The Fellow Reference Chair must hold the grade of IEEE Fellow and must be an SPS Member in good standing.

All nominations should be sent to Theresa Argiropoulos at t.argiropoulos@ieee.org, who will collect the nominations on behalf of John Treichler, Vice President-Awards and Membership. Nominations should be received no later than 30 September 2013. Please provide the following information for the nomination:

• name
• contact information of the nominee
• individual’s biographical information
• information about the individual’s current activities in the Signal Processing Society, the IEEE, or other professional societies.
