MMSP 2017 is the IEEE 19th International Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing. The workshop is organized by the Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. The workshop will bring together researchers and developers working on multimedia signal processing to share their experience, exchange views, explore future research directions and network. This year’s event has a theme of ‘Multimedia Processing for Healthcare and Assisted Living’. However, other multimedia signal processing problems will be also solicited.
This edition of the workshop is organized by the University of Bedfordshire and will take place from October 16 to October 18. The workshop will be hosted in the Chequers style mansion house, Putteridge Bury
On behalf of the Fellow Reference Chair, the Vice President-Awards and Membership, Michael D. Zoltowski, is seeking nominations for four new members of the 2011 Fellow Reference Committee. The term of appointment is three years, non-renewable (1 January 2011-31 December 2013). The position is responsible for evaluating nominations for IEEE Fellow that are referred for review by the IEEE Fellow Committee. Candidates must hold the grade of IEEE Fellow and must be an SPS Member. All nominations should be sent to Michael D.
