Consider the example of a high voltage power supply site – a plant that contains power generators and transformers. Such systems are susceptible to Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI), produced during the operation of the system or due to fault occurrence.

The College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications for a cluster hire of multiple tenure-track faculty members in the area of biomedical engineering. Positions will be nominally at the Assistant Professor level; however appointments at the Associate Professor level are possible for highly-qualified candidates. Candidates are expected to hold a baccalaureate degree in engineering and a doctorate in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering.
