Announcing the New Signal Processing Society Open Access Journal: IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing

The IEEE Signal Processing Society is proud to launch a new gold fully open access (OA) journal, the IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing (OJ-SP), spanning the full scope of the Society’s fields of interest. OJ-SP, which will be fully compliant with funder mandates, including Plan S, will begin accepting submissions in fall 2019 and publish its first articles in early 2020.

Call for Officer Nominations: Vice President-Membership and Vice President-Education

IEEE Signal Processing Society Past President Rabab K. Ward in her capacity as Chair of the Society’s Nominations and Appointments Committee invites nominations for the IEEE Signal Processing Society Officer positions of Vice President-Membership for the term 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022 and the new position of Vice President-Education for the term 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022.

Nominations Open for 2019 SPS Awards

The SPS Awards Board is now accepting nominations for all Society level awards, from paper awards to the major society awards. Nominations are due by 1 September 2019.  Nominators should take into consideration the need for representation of diversity in the award nomination slate, when submitting their nominations.
