DEADLINE EXTENDED - 12 October: Call for Nominations - N&A Committee and Awards Board
The nomination deadline for the Awards Board and the Nominations and Appointments (N&A) Committee positions is being extended to Thursday, 12 October 2017.
Renaming of Society Level Awards
In 2017, four of the Society’s Major Awards were renamed after a proposal by the Awards Board. The name changes we officially approved by all parties earlier in 2018 and will be put into effect for the 2018 awards cycle. The new award titles are noted below.

In 2008, United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago severely damaged Dave Carroll’s Taylor guitar worth $3,500. After nine months of unsuccessful pleas for compensation, Carroll wrote the song "United Breaks Guitars” – a YouTube hit with more than 17 million views.
