The First TReNDS Neuroimaging Competition is LIVE! The competition features the largest normative dataset of its kind and will push the limits of current predictive technologies to help determine the translational value of the provided features for future clinical use. The Signal Processing Society (SPS) has 13 Technical Committees and 2 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that support a broad selection of signal processing-related activities defined by the scope of the Society.

With enthusiasm, we announce the call for interest in the 1st Listener Acoustic Personalization Challenge (LAP 2024). The challenge acknowledges the diverse expertise within the signal processing community to facilitate cross-pollination of ideas and foster collaborative innovation in the audio domain, but not limited to.

Every year the US Army spends close to 60 percent of funds allocated for a given air platform on maintenance and sustainment. Helicopters like the HH-60 Pave Hawk and the UH-60 Black Hawk undergo maintenance every at pre-determined cycles and their mechanical and electrical components have a finite life expectancy.
