Field Data for Wireless Communications Over Doubly Selective Channels
The Applied Research Laboratories at The University of Texas at Austin has released a 10 GB dataset of wireless communication field measurements:
- Doubly selective underwater acoustic channel
- Single carrier communication system
- QAM transmission and optional pilot tones
- Single-element mobile transmitter
- Five-element stationary receiver
The dataset has been publicly released under a non-exclusive royalty-free license:

Potential uses of the dataset include conducting research in
- Doubly selective channel modeling (Doppler, multipath, additive noise, etc.)
- Doppler shift estimation and correction methods
- Equalization methods (esp. for reverberant channels)
- Receiver design tradeoffs
